The whole experience was good, nothing too much trouble, would definitely recommend. Very helpful staff, comfy bed and absolutely clean rooms. They provide an English breakfast with lots of options. Room was excellent value for money. I loved that the hotel was very close to the airport, 14 minutes drive...

Helpful staff, really great setting. Superb base for exploring Bournemouth❤😃
No croissants. Well, no tea.

Not far from shops, close to the beach, wifi is very good
-
The location was perfect, a 10 minute walk to beach and restaurants. Price was affordable

I went to Bournemouth to see Ringo Starr at the bic and chose the Glendevon as it is just a few minutes walk from the venue at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was basic but clean and tidy and a good breakfast was provided next morning. There is slightly cheaper accomodation in the area but from what I have read this hotel is of a higher standard. Overall I would recomend the Glendevon for a short budget stay.
Although this is an excellent hotel, I would only stay here again for a short break. The problem is doors banging as people come and go, this went on until at least 2am and started up again at dawn. I put this down to inconsiderate guests but when I left my room next morning - I had to slam the door to make it close! So a good hotel for heavy sleepers.

Friendly staff
When we got back to the hotel after a meal out we thought we would have a drink in the bar but it was shut. Also did not get much sleep as there was lots of drunken men coming home at all hours of the night!!

The Twin room I stayed in was very clean and tidy and just spacious enough for us. Kind hotel reception staff and breakfast was good and ample.

Arrived at 10-30am, was allowed to book in to room excellent serevice friendly staff, great location

The individual service made you feel special. The fantastic breakfast.
A couple arrived at 6.45am and were very noisey. They were joined by friends after around 10 minutes. No consideration for other guests sleeping.

our room was nice, bed comfy, clean, lovely shower room. breakfast nice, staff friendly, location good. would definatly stay there again
the heating was on all night, too hot!

Great stay, no hairdryer in room but borrowed one from reception. Great choice of things for breakfast.
Decor was very dated but whole room was clean (except a dusty lampshade).

I stayed at the Glendevon for three nights and would like to say how pleasant my visit was. The owner (Bill) was kind enough to wait for me being a late arrival, and was able to arrange early breakfasts (eggs on toast) to ensure I got to my conference on time. I found my room tidy and clean. The shower was really nice too. It's only a short walk to the Bournemouth International Centre and a fraction of the cost of some of the nearer hotels. There was enough room in the hotel car park for me to leave my car in for the duration of my stay. Bill also recommended a really good indian restaurant called the 'Eye of the Tiger' on Old Christchurch Road which is also well worth a visit
The music in the restaurant was a tad cheesey - think Spandau Ballet, Neil Diamond etc - but in a fun way - I think the chef likes it :)

The room was a really good size and had everything you needed for a night. The breakfast was delicious. All in all was a great stay and good value for money.
-
Friendly staff, sufficient lighting in the rooms.
The bed is too soft & worn out.

Hotel was basic but comfortable but the staff were ever so friendly and helpful :)
